I saw one bird species endemic to Puerto Rico , the Puerto Rican Tody (Todus mexicanus , german: Gelbflankentodi , french: Todier de Porto Rico ). A couple species are endemic to the Caribbean . Altogether I didn't see many birds on my short visit.
